Electronic Information Service National Basic Program (from here onwards: EIS) is ten years old this year. EIS supplies higher education institutes, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, a number of libraries and public collections, hospitals with national provision, ministerial background institutes (e.g. National Public Health and Medical Officer Service; Cereal Research Non-Profit LTD.) and other non-profit research institutes with full text academic data bases, journals, articles; in the frame of public procurement, national licence.
EIS, as Hungary’s sole service provider of current periodical data bases connected to higher education and research, owing to the project executed from the EU resource titled ‘TÁMOP 4.2.5 – Electronic content development and service in research and higher education’; has increased access to both Hungarian and international higher educational and research contents with one and a half times as great. EIS is operated and the basic project is executed by Education Public Services Non-profit LLC.
Educatio Public Services Non-profit LLC as the leader of the Consortium invites you, or the authorized representative of the institute led by you, to the special members’ meeting and conference of EIS in 2011, which are to celebrate the 10th anniversary of EIS’ existence. The events are going to be held on December 2, 2011, 10 AM, in Kossuth Club. In case the members’ meeting has no quorum, it will be held again 14.30 PM, the same day.

Access: Kossuth Club is situated close to the National Museum, in the heart of Palaces Quarter, 2 minutes walk from the station of Underground 2 at Kálvin Square. Parking facilities are in the deep garage in Bródy Sándor Street.
It is not necessary for the present to register and enter on the new portal in order to access the data bases.
The portal of Electronic Information Service (EIS), which was developed within the frame of TÁMOP-4.2.5-09/1-2010-0002 application won by Educatio Public Services Non-profit LLC, is awaiting regular and new visitors with impressive design, simple access, and user friendly applications.
