The ACM Digital Library (DL) is the most comprehensive collection of full-text articles and bibliographic records in existence today covering the fields of computing and information technology. The full-text database includes the complete collection of ACM's publications, including journals, conference proceedings, magazines, newsletters, and multimedia titles.

The publications of Akadémiai Kiadó in more than 40 scientific fields offer scientists to publish their newest scientific results from nuclear chemistry through microbiology to linguistics. Users can access more than 60 journals back to 1998. From among 17 Hungarian Impact Factor journals 14 are published here. Articles can be searched by author, title and abstract, and full-text can be downloaded in PDF format.

The core contents of the service are: English – Hungarian and Hungarian – English, German – Hungarian and Hungarian–German, French – Hungarian, Hungarian – French Comprehensive Dictionaries; Dictionary of Foreign Words and Phrases; Environmental Encyclopaedia; Hungarian– English Environmental Dictionary of Definitions; English – Hungarian Financial and Technical Dictionaries; and the Dictionary of Terminology of the European Union published by Akadémiai Kiadó.The contents have been enriched with further dictionaries since 2010, these are the following: Spanish–Hungarian and Hungarian–Spanish Dictionaries, German–Hungarian Comprehensive Technical Dictionary, Italian – Hungarian and Hungarian – Italian Concise Dictionaries, Hungarian – Dutch Concise Dictionary, Hungarian Dictionary of Definitions, New Hungarian Encyclopaedia of Literature, Dictionary of Hungarian Synonyms, The Rules of Hungarian Spelling.

CAB Abstract

CAB was founded as a bibliographic database and abstracting service of agriculture in 1932, its present name is Centre of Agriculture and Biosciences International (CABI). Subjects covered include agriculture, animal and veterinary sciences, and related topics of biology, economics, commerce, and legislation. Online coverage is from 1973 to the present, the number of records is more than 6.3 million, records added annually is more than 300 000.

CAS SciFinder

CAS SciFinder database can be accessed within the framework of TÁMOP 4.2.5 application won by Educatio Public Services Non-profit LLC, by institutes applying for it. SciFinder is a research discovery tool that provides access to the CAS databases and MEDLINE, which offer many scientific disciplines, including biomedical sciences, chemistry, engineering, materials science, agricultural science.

EbscoHost

EbscoHost is one of the best–used reference resources in the world. EbscoHost offers several databases in different subject areas in a unified site. Through EBSCO Publishing (which is one of the biggest journal artical database publisher and vendor) users can access thousands of English and foreign language journals of international scientific publishers.

EconLit (Economic Literature Index), published by the American Economic Association, is the world’s biggest database in the fields of economics and related subjects. It provides bibliographic coverage of a wide range economics-related literature, going back to 1969, and covers both economic theory and application.

ESI users can determine the influential individuals, institutions, papers, publications, and countries in their field of study – as well as emerging research areas that could impact their work. ESI database can be accessed within the framework of TÁMOP 4.2.5 application won by Educatio Public Services Non-profit LLC, by institutes applying for it.

Food Science and Technology Abstracts (FSTA) includes material from over 4600 serial publications, periodicals, standards, rules of law, patents, books, theses, and conference proceedings, published in up to 40 languages. The articles and other resources from the topics of agriculture, animal husbandry, and veterinary medicine are only covered if related to food science, food technology and nutrition. The number of records is 970000+ and 40000+ records are added annually.

Grove Music Online

Oxford Music Online is the home of Grove Music Online (originally launched in Januray 2001) and is the world’s leading reference work in music. Grove Music Online was re-launched in 2007 as the centre-piece of Oxford music Online, with new content, functionality and partnership links.

The world’s core collection of engineering, electronics, and computer science periodicals, ASPP includes 148 IEEE Society-sponsored journals, transactions and magazines.

Journal Citation Reports

Journal Citation Reports®(JCR®) offers a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the world's leading journals, with quantifiable, statistical information based on citation data. By compiling articles' cited references, JCR helps to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationship between citing and cited journals. The JSTOR Archive features the complete back runs of over 1000 scholarly journals across over forty disciplines. Presently, JSTOR offers access to twelve multidisciplinary collections; the thirteenth collection will be released in June 2012.

With over a third of a million full-text works of poetry, prose and drama in English, together with the definitive online criticism and reference library, Literature Online is the world’s largest cross-searchable database of literature and criticism. MathSciNet

MathSciNet online database publishes the coverage of Mathematical Reviews® and Current Mathematical Publications. Mathematical Reviews® is the most comprehensive database (the MRDB ) for the mathematical sciences; it is now maintained electronically. Information in the MRDB is published in several different formats.

The MLA International Bibliography provides searchable access to more than 2 million bibliographic citations to journal articles, books, dissertations, and scholarly websites. It indexes materials from 1921 to the present in disciplines such as language, literature, folklore, linguistics, literary theory and criticism, and the dramatic arts.

Literature Resource Center is the most current, comprehensive, and reliable online literature resource. Its materials support interdisciplinary approaches, information literacy, and the development of critical thinking skills.

Nature

Nature Publishing Group (NPG) publishes a portfolio of journals including Nature (founded in 1869) the leading weekly, international scientific journal. It is ranked the world's most cited interdisciplinary science journal according to the 2010 Journal Citation Reports Science Edition (Thomson Reuters, 2011). Its Impact Factor is 36.101.

Project MUSE

MUSE debuted in 1995 as collaboration between the John Hopkins University Press and the Milton S. Eisenhower Library at JHU, the first of its kind in scholarly humanities publishing. Reaxys is a fully integrated content source providing in-depth coverage of inorganic, organic and organometallic small molecule chemistries excerpted from appropriate journal and patent literature.

Science Direct

ScienceDirect, Elsevier’s full-text database offers online and printed journal articles and book chapters in science, technology and medical science. It offers full-text access to the online version of print journals of own publishing, and e-journals of other publishers. Main scientific fields are: Science, Medicine, Engineering, Energy and Technology. In the present licence books and book serials cannot be accessed.

Science Magazine is an international scientific weekly published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Founded in 1880 with the support of American inventor Thomas Edison, it has grown to become the world’s leading publication for cutting-edge research, scientific news, and commentary, with the largest paid circulation of any peer-reviewed general-science journal.

Scopus

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature with smart tools to track, analyse and visualise research. The database can be accessed within the framework of TÁMOP 4.2.5 application won by Educatio Public Services Non-profit LLC, by institutes applying for it.

World Biographical Information System (WBIS) Online

With the “World Biographical Information System (WBIS) Online” K. G. Saur presents the most comprehensive and extensive biographical online library. The database can be accessed owing to the application TÁMOP 4.2.5-09/1-2010-0002 won by Educatio Public Services Nonprofit LLC. The database can be accessed freely by members of EIS consortium.

Zoological Record is the world’s oldest continuing data base in the field of animal biology. The broad scope of coverage ranges from biodiversity and the environment to taxonomy and veterinary sciences.
